If you read the crime log I have posted, you will see that there is crime right here in our area. That it is important that we create the neighborhood watch Tem. We are having a meeting on August 14th with the Metro Police to discuss the setting up of a team. Deerfield Apartments just set one up last week. The more watch teams we have the better.

Cancellation Notice of Special Meeting
Aug 19Th meeting has been cancelled for now.....
Ten Percent of the members of The greens Home Owners Association. Inc. signed petition to retire our current HOA Board of Director Officers in accordance with our by-laws.
This petition was delivered to the Greens HOA Board at their board meeting on 7/17/2008. The Greens HOA/Jim Curley Properties replied in writing that "...the petition was not a legal petition. You did not have proper number of legal signatures. You had one that was delinquent and one that none (sic) owner signed."
Assuming this informaton is accurate, we therfore notify all HOA members who planned on attending the above-mentioned meeting that for the time being it is cancelled.
Keep checking back to keep updated on what is happening at the Greens!

Soon to Come Neighborhood Watch Group - Meeting to be Scheduled
What is that you ask?
The Neighborhood Watch concept is designed to target specific geographical areas and to assist citizens in these areas:
1)Establish an organizational structure and create an information sharing network.
2)Assistance in facilitating the introducing of neighbors to create social ties that will help them work together.
3)Allow police to train citizens on how to proactive by preventing crime and and how to recognize and report criminal activities.
4)Access information and assistance from police and other government agencies that can help to improve living conditions.
5)Provide the community with strong, unified voice to inform community leaders on programs and actions that the "people" support.
We are in the process of setting up a date for our first meeting soon. If interested email nashborgreens@aol.com with name unit # and email address.....
